Liquidation data is a widely watched signal of leveraged positioning and forced selling/buying pressure — large spikes often coincide with sharp price moves, since a cascade of liquidations in one direction can accelerate that same move.
This tracker sources BTC, ETH, XRP, and SOL liquidations directly from Bybit's public "all liquidation" stream (no API key required — it's a public feed), aggregated server-side into a rolling 24-hour window.
FAQ
What counts as a "liquidation" here?
A forced close of a leveraged futures position because the trader's margin could no longer cover their losses. A long liquidation is a forced market sell; a short liquidation is a forced market buy.
Why is HYPE unavailable?
Bybit's liquidation stream is public and market-wide, covering every trader on the exchange. Hyperliquid's public API only exposes liquidations per individual user (you'd need to already know a specific wallet address) — there's no equivalent market-wide feed to aggregate, so rather than showing a partial or misleading number, HYPE is marked unavailable.
What does "All Coins" include?
The sum of BTC, ETH, XRP, and SOL liquidations only — HYPE is excluded from the total for the same reason it has no individual card.
How real-time is this?
The backend holds a persistent connection to Bybit's liquidation WebSocket and records every event as it happens. The page itself polls that backend every 15 seconds, so there's a small delay, but the underlying data is genuinely live, not historical snapshots.
